In Farah Khan"s Om Shanti Om, Khan is depicted in the role of a junior artiste in love with an actress played by Deepika Padukone. He seeks to take revenge from the killer of the actress in his next birth. The movie was a huge hit. Khan even set records with his movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Anushka Sharma. He enacts the role of a shy, loving husband who transforms himself to a fun loving and amusing person to earn the love of his wife. His character was well appreciated and the movie was a huge hit.
