The Indian film Humraaz was produced under the Venus movie banner and stars Bobby Deol, Amisha Patel and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles.

Plot of Humraaz
The director duo Abbas Mustan is known for their action, romantic thrillers in Bollywood with dark themes and the characters in his films have shades of grey. The plot of the movie Humraaz is a story of complex relationships, misplaced ambition and unmitigated greed. The movie starts with Karan and Priya played by Akshaye Khanna and Amisha Patel respectively, who are the lead pairs of a dance and are romantically involved. They are set to perform on a luxury cruise liner owned by the shipping tycoon Raj Singhania played by Bobby Deol, who is instantly attracted to Priya. She welcomes all the advances made by the rich businessman and when Raj proposes her, she graciously agrees.

Humraaz, Indian FilmBut the story takes a twist, when it is revealed that Priya and Karan are in cahoots and have been using Raj as a means to get easy money by marrying the millionaire, divorcing him and living off the alimony. Priya eventually ends up marrying Raj but starts to develop genuine feelings for the man. She decides to come clean to her husband and sever all ties with Karan, who after knowing the truth feels betrayed and comes up with a devious plan to ruin Raj and Priya"s life. After a variety of endeavours including murder and blackmail, the movie ends with Priya killing Karan and reuniting with Raj, who forgives her in spite of her treachery.

Directed by Abbas Mustan, the movie Humraaz is produced by Ganesh Jain and Ratan Jain. The movie is written by Shiraz Ahmed and Shyam Goel with Ravi Yadav as the cinematographer. The movie has a total run time of 174 minutes and is edited by Hussain A. Burmawala and performed well at the Box Office. The other members of the cast included Johnny Lever, Sheela Sharma, Dilip Joshi and Sudhir Mishra.
