Location of Belonia
Belonia is located in South Tripura District, Tripura. The town is situated at 23.25 degree North and 91.45 degree East. It has a standard height of 23 metres (75 feet).

According to the Population Census in the year of 2011, Belonia Nagar Panchayet has a population of 19,996 where Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Belonia has a standard literacy rate of 95% which is higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 54% of the males and 46% of females literate. 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.
