Vaania Kapoor Achuthan has achieved a lot of swimming records. She has won many medals both at the nationals and state level competitions.

Early Life of Vaania Kapoor Achuthan
At the age of 9 years, Vaania Kapoor Achuthan was selected to represent the Karnataka state swimming team. Vaania Kapoor Achuthan is hailing from Bengaluru, Karnataka. Vaania Kapoor Achuthan is currently studying in the Primus Public School in Benguluru. Vaania Kapoor Achuthan began swimming when she was only three years old. The first medal of Vaania Kapoor Achuthan came when she took part at the Bangalore Sports Club competition and since then Vaania Kapoor Achuthan has been dominating the sport in her category. From her beginning of the career to 2013, Vaania Kapoor Achuthan has won more than 150 medals in all competitions, from school to national level, of which 14 are silver, four are bronze and the rest are Gold. Vaania Kapoor Achuthan is supported by Anglian Medal Hunt Company.

Career of Vaania Kapoor Achuthan
Vaania Kapoor Achuthan also demonstrates all-round abilities in swimming, with accomplishments in theatre where she came first all over India at the Trinity Guildhall London Initial Speech and Drama Competition. In the debut appearance of Vaania Kapoor Achuthan at the State Sub Junior Aquatic Championships in 2011, Vaania Kapoor Achuthan won two Gold, two Silver, and one Bronze medal. At the age of six, Vaania Kapoor Achuthan secured first place in five swimming events at the 9th Invitational Age Group Swimming Championship held at the Rotary Corporation Sports Academy`s Swimming Pool, in Belgaum, Karnataka. The events were 25m Breast Stroke, 25m Butterfly Stroke, 25m Back Stroke, 25m Freestyle and 50m Freestyle, thereby securing the Individual Championship as well. Now at the age of ten, Vaania Kapoor Achuthan has already won eleven Gold, three Silver and two Bronze medals along with a couple of "Best Swimmer" awards in state-level events. At the 30th Sub Junior National Aquatic Championship (2013), Goa, Vaania Kapoor Achuthan won four gold medals and broke two previous records in the process.
