Tada drastuh svarupe avasthanam, Patanjali Yoga SutraReckoned as the third yoga sutra, which is contained in the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, the very sutra stand as the epitome of the conviction " Then, the seer dwells in his own true splendour".

tada then, at that time
drastuh the soul, the seer
svarupe in his own, in his state
avasthanam rests, abides, dwells, resides, radiates

Then, the seer dwells in his own true splendour.

When the waves of consciousness are quietened and silenced, they can no longer deform the true expression of the soul.

Volition being the method of behaviour of the mind, is prone to change one`s perception of the state and condition of the seer from moment to moment. When it is arrested and regulated, a reflective state of being is felt. In this state, knowledge penetrates so clearly that the true magnificence of the seer is seen and felt. This vision of the soul exudes without any activity on the part of citta. Once it is accomplished, the soul abides in its own scat.
