Shalabh Srivastava is a left-arm fast medium bowler of Uttar Pradesh Cricket team. His full name is Shalabh Jagdishprasad Srivastava and he is also known as Sonu. S. Srivastava was born on September 22, 1981 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Shalabh bats with right hand and he is one of the rarely sighted left-arm medium pacer breeds in India.
S Srivastava played as the opener of Indian Under-19 team in the World Cup in Sri Lanka. Being a very tall guy, he generates maximum pace from a high arm action. Srivastava is a player who believes in accuracy and bowls from close to the stumps to take his wicket. He can control the ball both off the wicket and in the air. But still Shalabh Srivastava needs to improve himself to bring variations in his bowling style to reach the highest level. He is in the top wicket taker`s list in India in the Under-19 World Cup.
