Sambhaji Kadam is an Indian professional basketball player who earned several accolades and he earned fame while playing for Young Cagers. Sambhaji Kadam, not earned himself as the basket ball player from Miraj in Maharashtra, but also he achieved many awards as he is mentor in basket ball championships in regional, national and international arena. Sambhaji Kadam supports for the Indian Collegiate Athletic Program (ICAP) that is the major regional and nation based basket ball championship in India. He also mentors for the young aspirant players who have a keen interest in playing basket ball in Olympics Games, Asiad Games, and Common wealth Games.
Early Life of Sambhaji Kadam
Sambhaji Kadam was born on March 15 in the year 1980. Sambhaji Kadam started playing basketball at the age of 12-13. Sambhaji Kadam hails from a small town called Miraj District in the Indian state of Maharashtra. His father was a wrester and Sambhaji Kadam himself was a national champion in wrestling at the under-13 level before he chose to play basketball in national, regional and international arena. Sambhaji Kadam from the very early life showed himself in sports and fitness without any discrimination of advantage of the games. Sambhaji Kadam got his moral supports from his father who was also a famous wrestler of his times.
Career of Sambhaji Kadam
Sambhaji Kadam plays for the Young Cagers who compete at the FIBA Asia Champions Cup and is a member of the India national basketball team. Sambhaji Kadam competed for the India national basketball team at both the FIBA Asia Championship 2007 and FIBA Asia Championship 2009.
