Ranjith Kumar Jayaseelan is a well known athlete and sportsperson from India. He was born on 2nd September in the year 1974. Ranjith Kumar Jayaseelan participated in the Men`s Seated Discus Throw EAD at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. The 2006 Commonwealth Games were conducted in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It was held from 15th March 2006 to 26th March 2006. The sporting tournament was perhaps the biggest sporting event to take place in Melbourne. Discus Throw is a track and field athletics competition event where an athlete throws a heavy disc known as discus, in an effort to mark a farther distance than competitors. Ranjith Kumar Jayaseelan won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games with a throw of 29.88 meters.
