Management of Indian SquashManagement of Indian Squash is done by the national governing organization recognized as Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI). Apart from the national body, there are also several State level Squash associations that manage the regional talents and tournaments. Squash is one of the widely played sports in India. The game started its journey in India several years back and has got significant popularity among the Indian people. The game is being run and managed by a number of national and state level associations that are working for the well being of Squash in India. The associations came into being in different times during the twentieth century and are an integral part of the management of Indian Squash. They are situated in almost all parts of India and their main objective is to spread the game all over the country.

The Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI) is the national governing body for Squash in India. The Federation was established for a better management of Indian Squash and with an objective of developing the total condition of Squash in India. It has been working to achieve the objective, since then. The SRFI is taking a lot of initiatives like conducting training camps, organising various tournaments at the state and national levels for the well being of the game in India. The SRFI conducts the National Squash Championship, and promotes the game through the different state level Squash bodies. It is in charge of selecting the squad for the Indian team, and choosing coaches for the national team, as well. The SRFI has established the ICL-TNSRA Squash Academy for providing training facilities to the young Squash players and the academy has also hosted the World Team Championship in 2007.

Apart from the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI), there are also a large number of State level Squash associations that are working for developing the condition of Squash and also for bringing up new talents. They are helping the SRFI in a great way for the management of Indian Squash. The state associations mainly bring up new talents from their respective states and project them to the national level. They also organise various tournaments and training camps for providing the Squash players with better facilities. Almost all the states in India have their own state Squash associations. Some of the major State level Squash associations include the Andaman and Nicobar Squash Association.
