The Halwara Air Base is situated near the town of Halwara in Punjab, India.

Halwara Air Base, PunjabHalwara Air Base is situated near the town of Halwara, Punjab. The air base was established in 1950. Initially it was established as one of the first air bases after the Indian independence from the British Raj. After many years, today the Indian government has propounded to establish Halwara Airport into an international passenger and cargo airport. The process of acquiring land to build the passenger terminal building has already started.
