Gandhigram is a census town in Dindigul district of the southern state of India, Tamil Nadu. Gandhigram is located in the north of Madurai and is easily accessible by road and railways. Madurai Airport is the nearest airport and the nearest railway station is the Dindigul Junction Railway Station.

According to the 2001 census report, Gandhigram had a population of 10,666 inhabitants. Males constitute 53% of the population and females constitute 47% of the population. The male literacy rate is 79% and the female literacy rate is 69%.
