Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, Indian PoliticianSanjeev Kumar Balyan is an Indian politician. He won the 16th Lok Sabha General Election from Muzaffarnagar (Lok Sabha constituency). He joined with the BJP one and half years ago. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, a doctor by profession, defeated Kadir Rana of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) by a margin of more than 4 lakh votes.

Sanjeev Kumar Balyan has been appointed as Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing in Bharatiya Janata Party led National Democratic Alliance Government, 2014 headed by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan hails from the Jat background.

Political Career of Sanjeev Kumar Balyan
Sanjeev Kumar Balyan was an assistant professor of Haryana Agricultural University before joining the Haryana government as a veterinary surgeon. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan quit the job about two years ago. From that time he entered into regional politics of Haryana and also opened himself as a real estate industrialist. From that time he joined with the Bharatiya Janta Party.

Dr Sanjeev Balyan,is a PhD in Veterinary Anatomy from the Haryana Agricultural University at Hisar. He has served as an Assistant Professor and as a veterinary surgeon with the Haryana Government. After having an enormous victory in Indian General Elections 2014, he became the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing in Narendra Modi`s Cabinet.
