Early Life of Apurvi Singh Chandela
Apurvi Singh Chandela was born on 4th January in the year 1993. Apurvi Singh Chandela did her schooling from Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls` School, Jaipur in Rajasthan. She studied Sociology honours from Jesus and Mary College, which is granted under the acclamation of Delhi University.

Apurvi Singh Chandela in 10 meters Rifle Shooting Career
Apurvi Singh Chandela has from the very early period competed in 10 metre air rifle, which is an International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) shooting event. It shot over a distance of 10 metres (10.94 yards) from a standing position with a 4.5 mm (0.177 in) calibre air rifle with a maximum weight of 5.5 kg. Apurvi Singh Chandela took the chance of having the weight of that rifle with an easy pose. The use of specialised clothing by Apurvi Singh Chandela allowed her to improve the stability of the shooting position. It also helps Apurvi Singh Chandela to prevent chronic back injury which can be caused by the asymmetric offset load on the spine when the rifle is held in position.

Sports Career of Apurvi Singh Chandela
Apurvi Singh Chandela is a shooter hailing from Rajasthan who competes in the 10 metre air rifle event. She won the gold medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Later in 2016 Rio Olympics, she is competed and has expressed belief that she can do the same at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Personal Life of Apurvi Singh Chandela
Apurvi was born to a Chandela Rajput family in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Her father is Kuldeep Singh Chandela, an hotelier, and mother is Bindu Rathore.

Award Received by Apurvi Singh Chandela
In 2012, Apurvi Singh Chandela won the gold medal in the 10 metres air rifle event at the National shooting championships in New Delhi. It was her first year in the senior circuit. In 2014, Apurvi Singh Chandela won four medals at the Intershoot Championships at The Hague, that included two individual and two team medals. In the same year, Apurvi Singh Chandela won the gold medal in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, having scored 206.7 points in final, in the process creating a new games record.
