Being considered as the greatest talents in their respective fields, the 1964 Padma Bhushan Awardees have become a part of India`s glorious history. The Padma Bhushan Award is the third highest civilian award presented in India and has been presented by the Government of India since 1954. The Government presents the award to those people, who have done something extraordinary in their respective fields. This award is actually given for recognising their outstanding achievements. A total of 18 people received the award in 1964.
