The Padma Bhushan Award is a highly prestigious and honourable civilian award in India. The award is presented by the Government of India to those special talents, who have achieved great feats in their respective fields throughout their careers. The award was presented for the first time in 1954 and since then, it is being given on a regular basis. A total of 13 people won the award in the year 1961 and all of them were the best people in their respective fields.
