The base was later broadened from a conventional target audience [55 years and above] to rope in the 30-plus segment as well as children. As of now Jagran has half a dozen advertisers like MDH, Night Queen and Ashok Masalas coming in but soon they claim to have more clients in the fast moving commercial goods category. Telecom players and makers of specialized health products and gemstones are also interested in advertising. Jagran also has programmes like "The Great Indian Astro Show", "The Tarot Show", "Nirvana at 9", etc. to attract the attention of those looking for interactive shows on these subjects. The channel believes that today`s youth does not want to be preached but wants answers to their direct questions. For instance, The Tarot Show where youths in the age group of 22-23 years are often called to ask questions.
