14th Zee Cine Awards
14th Zee Cine Awards was held in the year 2014, on 8th February in Mumbai and was aired on 23rd February on multiple channels. The best films of the previous year, 2013, were honoured in the event. Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh served as co-anchors for the show. Every year Bollywood witnesses several newcomers and many of them mark their powerful presence in the industry at their first ventures. Zee Cine Awards for Best Male Debut appreciates the work of such newcomers. The nominations under this category included Dhanush for Raanjhanaa, Girish Kumar for Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Ram Charan for Zanjeer, Sushant Singh Rajput for Kai Po Che, Varun Sharma for Fukrey and Manish Paul for Mickey Virus. The award was won by Dhanush for Raanjhanaa.

Dhanush is an established and acclaimed film actor, producer and playback singer of Tamil film industry; however he made his debut in Bollywood with the movie Raanjhanaa. His performance in the flick received huge applauses from critics as well as masses.
