Zara Nachke Dikha, an Indian dance reality show, originally aired on STAR One and then later on Star Plus. It comprised television celebrities as contestants who competed against each other. They were divided into two teams.

Zara Nach Ke Dikha, Indian Reality ShowZara Nach Ke Dikha is a dance reality show on Star One. This show was a home-grown format, conceptualized by the Star One creative team and produced by SOL. `Zara Nach Ke Dikha` was a show where television actresses competed with TV actors. There were two teams consisting of eight boys and girls where no elimination or voting would take place. The decision would be completely made by the judges.

Hosts and Judges of Zara Nachke Dikha
Karan Singh Grover and Shweta Gulati co-hosted the show while Malaika Arora Khan and famous Bollywood star Chunky Pandey were the respective judges in season 1. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Arshad Warsi and Vaibhavi Merchant were judges for the second season of the show. The show debuted on 14 July 2008. The next season aired two years later, on 1st May 2010 in India and United States.

Dance styles in Zara Nachke Dikha
The show broadcast a variety of Indian cultural and international dance styles ranging amongst classical, contemporary, Bollywood, hip-hop, Break dance, jazz, Kalaripayattu, Salsa, Samba and musical theatre styles. The contestants have performed various dangerous acts such as dancing with fire, dancing in the water, breaking glasses etc. They have even performed extremely difficult dance styles such as Shadow Dance, Krumping, Ballet, Tap dancing, Belly dance, etc.

Viewers would witness a clash twice a week. The first week was the `Performance Episode` of Zara Nachke Dikha, next came the `The challenge Episode`. This would air on Tuesday. In the episode, the winning team would give the weaker team an opportunity to bounce back. Each week had a Theme Round too given by the jury and the most innovative act would give that team edge over the other. Only the jury would decide the winning team based on the week`s performance. The losing team of the week would get another chance to make up for a better performance in the Challenger Round. The team member who lost this particular round went to the Penalty Bench and the Benched member did not perform till the next week, until the team won him or her back in the next Challenger episode. The contestants of Zara Nachke Dikha are the best of the celebrities from the television industry who would be pitted against each other to prove their superiority.

Season 1 of Zara Nachke Dikha
This season aired in 2008. The two teams Meethi Churi Ladkiyaan i.e. Girls Team and Tez Talwaar Ladke i.e. Boys Team were the competitors. In the first season, the team of Meethi Churi Ladkiyaan comprised Delnaaz Paul as Captain, Jennifer Winget, Narayani Shastri, Karishma Tanna, Ashita, Mouni Roy, Rupali Ganguli, and Swini Khara. The team of Tez Talwaar Ladke comprised Ali Asgar as Captain, Bhaktyaar Irani, Gaurav Chopra, Manish Goel, Chaitanya Choudhary, Amit Tandon, Vikas Sethi and Amey Pandya. Every weekend, there were five rounds, in which the contestants danced either solo or in groups. The team with the highest points at the end of a weeks won and gave a dance form to another team which they had to perform in the "Khallas" round and impress the judges. The Girls Team were the winners in Season 1.

Season 2 of Zara Nachke Dikha
The two teams Mast Kalandar Boys and Massakkali Girls were the competitors. Aamir Ali and Sangeeta Ghosh were the respective captains of the two teams. RJ Mantra and Jennifer Winget were the hosts for this season. In Season 2 as well, the winners were the girls team.

The show not only presented viewers with some stimulating dance moves but also showcased the best of the strategies in order to score over the opposite team. The show ranged all about from understanding the next move and playing mind games, to being extremely manipulative. The show was also made funny sometimes for the audience to enjoy. The boys and girls were entitled to teasing, mocking, being sarcastic, disdainful and passing on sneering comments. The opponent team missed no opportunity in taking a dig at each other.
