Costume of Zangtalam
The dancers wear colourful traditional attires that depict their rich creativity. The female performers also adorn themselves with ethnic ornaments that mainly comprise of necklace, bangle and earrings.

Performance of Zangtalam
It is performed in a group and both men and women participate in this dance. Both singing and dancing take place simultaneously. It is a rhythmic dance. The drummer choreographs the dance and the duration of the dance depends on how long the drummer can beat the drum. The male dancers stand in a line facing the female dancers. The steps of this dance are simple yet graceful. The movements can be performed by anyone. The duration of the dance depends on the drummer.
