You Touch My Heart is a game that is played during an Indian wedding. This game is particularly enjoyed by the women from the bride"s side. Indian weddings are full of zest and joy and to make them all the more enjoyable a lot of games are played during the different ceremonies. This way the seriousness of an Indian matrimony ceremony gets lightened. These games are meant to elevate the mood and to raise affection and understanding between members of the two families.

How to Play You Touch My Heart
In this game, several round slots are made with a saree, sufficiently wide enough for a hand to pass through. The saree is held lengthwise and behind it stands women from the bride"s side, including the bride. All the women thrust their hand only upto the wrist out of the holes. The groom stands on the other side from where he can only see an array of hands. The challenge for him is to search correctly for his bride"s hands for which he is given three chances. In a bid to confuse the groom even further, the other ladies selected to participate are usually the ones whose hands bear a striking resemblance to the bride"s hands. If the groom fails in this, he has to pay a "fine" before his bride is reunited with him.

Purpose of Playing You Touch My Heart
Indian wedding games were designed to ease the couple into each other"s company with a little bit of teasing and a whole lot of laughter from both families. The games played during marriage not only add fun to the ceremony but each game aims at bringing the bride and the groom and their families closer. Not only this, they also make it easier for the bride and the groom to get comfortable with each others family and friends.
