The concept of Yoddha, the comic book series by Raj Comics, centres around the lead character named Yoddha who is the greatest warrior in his own time. Due to various mystical forces, he gets transported into the modern world from the ancient era. The plotline mainly deals with the situations that exist in the present day and the ways that Yoddha adopts to deal with the various problems. He emerges as a true warrior and fights against evil. He also undertakes many efforts to back to the ancient age. The discovery of the origin of Yoddha can be considered as the major storyline of the Yoddha series. The entire story revolves around the fictional region of Rajnagar.

Yoddha has few friends that support him in his quest of returning to his own time. Some of his most notable friends and allies include, Daityaputra, Tapraj, his best friend and a yogi of utmost caliber; Bharat, a police inspector in Rajnagar and Badman, who is a CIA. Agent. Moreover, Madam X is also a friend of Yoddha and a secret agent in the Indian Intelligence Agency. Eventually she begins operating against the government and the law. Sneha is the sister of Madam X and has feelings for Yoddha. Dev Shiromani, a God, is the father of Yoddha. His enemies are Louhaangi, Ballaar and Jaanjibar. Louhaangi was once in love with Yoddha but later became his arch-nemesis. He is affiliated to the team Deva Lok.
