Women colleges in India have, since time immemorial, played a significant role in educating the women population of the country. Established in various regions of the country, they offer higher education in different streams.

Andhra Mahila Sabha School of Informatics
Andhra Mahila Sabha School of Informatics, situated in Hyderabad city of Andhra Pradesh is a school of informatics for women. The college is an institutional member of the Computer Society of India (CSI). It was established in 2003. `Adhyayan` is an important technical event which takes place in this college inviting the participation of MCA students from all around the state.

Women`s College
Women`s College located at Silchar in Assam is another institution established with the aim of providing higher education to women. It offers Intermediate and First Degree Level courses in commerce and arts. Various certificate and diploma courses are also conducted by the college. The college is UGC recognized and is affiliated to Assam University.
