Wilson Dam, MaharashtraWilson Dam was constructed in 1910 on the Pravara River of Maharashtra. This dam site is a lovely choice for picnicking. The dam is almost 150 meters above the sea level and horedes of tourists visit this place from all over the country. The cool peaceful waters of the river run flow along the miles. The Umbrella Falls lies in the surrounding area. However, these picturesque falls can be enjoyed only during the monsoons when the water level in the lake is significantly high. Randha Falls tumble down from the lake from a height of around 45 meters. This place is an ideal place to go for an outing. Other than being a holiday spot, the Randha Falls are also widely used for hydropower generation.
