Wardhannapet is a village and a mandal situated in the Telangana state of India. It is located in the Warangal district of Telangana. Wardhannapet is one of 18 villages in Wardhannapet Block along with villages like Kothapalle and Ramavaram. Geography of Wardhannapet
The village is situated about 25 km from the Warangal city. This town has been developed on the bank of the Akeru River. It is a small river which was once the main water resource for agriculture and drinking water for the people. Wardhannapet village has civil hospital, high school, Jr. College and police station. In order to promote the ancient Indian fine art forms like drama, music, folk forms of arts and literature, Eaga Sreehari founder and General Secretary together established the Bharatiya Nataka Kala Samithi in 1974.
