Vijaya Ganapati is one of the thirty-two forms of Lord Ganesha. He is presented in red complexion and is seated on a gigantic mouse named Krauncha.

Vijaya Ganapati, Form of Lord GaneshaLord Vijaya Ganapati is one of the thirty-two forms of Lord Ganesha. He is presented in red complexion and with four arms. The deity is seated on the divine mouse named Krauncha who is depicted in a gigantic size. Vijaya Ganapati carries a mango in his main right hand and His own broken tusk in main left hand; while the upper right hand carries a noose and His upper left hand holds an elephant goad. In this form, Lord Ganesha is considered to be the giver of success.

The Vijaya Ganapati form represents victory. Thus the worship of this form grants success in all the ventures His worshippers and brings prosperity in their lives. Lord Ganesha also removes troubles instantly in this form. There are several temples devoted to Lord Vijaya Ganapati, such as, the Ashtavinayak Temples in Pune, Maharashtara; the Ganesha temples in Nanjangud and Chamarajanagar in the district of Mysore in Karnataka; Pazhavangadi Ganapathy Temple in Trivandrum and others.

The devotees of the Lord worship this form of Ganesha by reciting the Vijaya Ganapati Mantra, which is mentioned below- Pashankusha Svadhantamra Phalavan Akhuvahanah Vighnam Nihantu Nah Sarvam Raktavarno Vinayakah.
