Vijay Hazare Trophy is a limited over domestic cricket tournament in India that kick-started in 2002-03 seasons that involves teams from various Indian states in the Ranji Trophy plates. The trophy is named after the famous Indian cricket player Vijay Harare.
Ever since the inception the trophy has gone to the kitty of Tamil Nadu and Mumbai, with former winning it four times and latter had the luck twice. The state of Jharkhand was the champions for the 2010-11 seasons when they defeated and got the better of Gujarat by 159 runs in the final match held at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. A young lad by the name of Shahbaz Nadeem, performed exceedingly well and grabbed four wickets for only six runs and helped the Jharkhand team to win the match.
