Vidarbha Cricket Association operates under the guidance of BCCI and manages the cricket activities of Vidarbha region.

Vidarbha Cricket associationVidarbha Cricket Association is the administrative body of the Cricket activities in the Vidarbha region in the state of Maharashtra. This association is affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India. It is involved in conducting games of domestic and international importance. It hosts all its matches at Vidarbha C.A. Ground.

The Vidarbha Cricket Association supports and develops Cricket by conducting various League Tournaments, Tournaments for the age group Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19, Under-22 and Under-25 categories besides organizing and conducting National Tournaments.

Activities of Vidarbha Cricket Association
It was formed to encourage the cricketing talent in Vidarbha region. It has also been responsible and engaged in honing the talent of local cricketer in Nagpur and surrounding areas. It is responsible for development and maintaining cricket grounds in Nagpur and presently has one Stadium and several other cricket grounds under its hands. The association has also started a Residential Cricket Academy from June`09. Three more centres at Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal, Amravati, Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon and Radhikabai Meghe Education Trust ground at Wardha are being developed and is expected to be operational soon. Sixty trainees selected through a talent scouting programme from the districts and Nagpur city will be housed in VCA`s Nagpur Cricket Academy, while the other ninety trainees i.e. thirty each will be housed separately at Hanuman Vyamyam Prasarak Mandal, Amravati, Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon and Radhikabai Meghe Education Trust, Wardha. The association also runs an umpire training academy, which will churn out the best of umpires.
