He should sit on the floor facing east, where he is not disturbed. Next step is to light the incense or an oil lamp. One should then offer fresh fruit or fresh flower as prasad on the altar. He is then advised to open the Yantra and place it along with the image of the god or goddess to which the Yantra is dedicated. The person should then take water with a leaf from the tree to sprinkle it on himself and then on the Yantra. He is then advised to close his eyes and concentrate on the deity, thereby attaining a meditative mode. Then the person should sincerely convey his desires to the deity of the Yantra and ask the deity to fulfill them.

jal mohu, thal mohu,
jangal ki hirni mohu
baat chalta batohi mohu,
darbar baitha raja mohu, palang baithi rani mohu,
mohini mero naam, mohu jagat sansaar,
tara tarila totla, teeno basay kapaal
sir chadhe matu ke, dushman karu pamaal
maat mohini devi ki duhaai
phure mantra khudaai".
