Vadodara Airport, GujaratVadodara Airport is a civilian airport which has recently acquired the status of an international airport and is fully operational. Vadodara Airport is also known as "Civil Airport Harni" as it is located in the suburb of Harni to the north-east of the historic city of Vadodara in Gujarat. Attempts have been made to increase its capacity as a newly integrated terminal building. Spread over the area of about 256 hectares, it has the capacity of handling about 700 passengers per hour. There are regular flights to Vadodara from cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The airport authority of Vadodara city manages the luggage, crops, seeds and vegetables transportations and import.

Terminals at Vadodara Airport
The Vadodara Airport supports a domestic terminal, from where the flights fly to and from Vadodara to other major cities, providing a connection between them. A new terminal for starting international flights from the city of Vadodara is likely to be ready by next year. The existing domestic terminal at Vadodara airport is small and cannot handle a large number of passengers.

The facilities available on the airport are varied which includes baggage facility and wheel chair friendly environment for physically challenged people. Vadodara is a city that is well connected with all types of transportation. One can get taxis and busses easily from the airport to reach the desired destinations. The nearest Railway Station from Vadodara Airport is at a distance of about 5 km.
