One cannot easily forget the humorous suitor of Bipasha Basu in the Bollywood blockbuster `No Entry`. Well that is Paresh Ganatra. Acting has been the passion of this actor since a long time and he has started doing theater since his college days in 1981.
The remarkable success of this actor lies in the fact that he is efficient in managing a time consuming corporate job and an equally demanding career of acting. Very few people are aware of the fact that he is working as the assistant vice president of a company. He also sounds very comfortable with the idea of juggling between two careers when he remarked in a recent interview, "It`s easy to balance my corporate job with acting shifts".
The extremely talented Paresh Ganatra is by birth a Gujarati who has been born and brought up in Mumbai. He has completed his degree from NM College in Mumbai and then pursues his management studies from Somaya College in the tinsel town. He has not taken any formal training in acting and has been actively involved in Gujarati Theater from 1984 to 1992. Recently his English play titled `Black With Equal` is running successfully. At present he has been entertaining his fans by his grey shade character in the hugely popular soap `Baa Bahu Aur Baby`. He managed to bag the role, as the producers are his very good friends and they have been doing theater together since a very long span.
Paresh Ganatra has also made his mark in the Bollywood Film Industry by meting out brilliant performances in Bollywood chartbusters like `No Entry`, `Aakhen` and `Mann`. In the year 2006 he has been seen in another moderately hit Bollywood flick `Dil Diya Hai` which stars the popular actor Emraan Hashmi and Geeta Basra. In this move he portrays the character of Emraan`s friend.
All the roles that he has enacted so far speak of his immense acting flair. On the personal front also he is a very happy individual with his parents, wife and two children supporting him at every phase of his life. In most of his movies and films he has been seen portraying comic characters but in future he would definitely like to essay a negative or grey shade because he believes that it give a lot of dimension to a character. He does not want to see himself casted in a stereotype role and wants to explore all the phases of human life through his acting skills. He wishes to entertain his fans by throughout the coming years by enacting various character portrayals.
