Yusmarg is situated at a distance of around 50 kilometres from the capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar in Budgam district. Yusmarg is a hilly town in Jammu and Kashmir, known for its beauty.

Yusmarg is located at an altitude of 7500 ft above sea level in the Pir Panjal Mountain Range. A perfect destination for nature lovers, Yusmarg, gives the tourists the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of valleys, peaks, and grassy meadows. Yusmarg is the jewel of Bagdam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Yusmarg shelters many picture perfect locales. Yousmarg also has some of the highest peaks in Pir Panjal range including Tattakutti (4,725 m) and Sunset Peak (4,746m).

Tourism in Yusmarg Sang-e-Safed or "White Rocks"
Sang-e-Safed or "White Rocks" is located at a distance of 10 kilometers from the Yusmarg Valley in Budgam District of Jammu and Kashmir. Sang-e-Safed is an oval-shaped meadow bisected by a Doodh Ganga stream. The site is visited for its various meadows which are also beautiful picnic spots. One can go trekking to Sang-e-Safed, which serves as base for Mount Tatta Kutti and is abound by dense pine trees. There are many meadows like Liddermar, where one can have a night`s halt.

Mount Tatakuti
Mount Tatakuti is located 15,500 feet above the sea level and is the main source of Doodh Ganga River. The tourists can visit Mount Tatakuti by walking or hiring a pony from Yousmarg, which is in the vicinity.

Nilnag Lake
One can find Nilnag Lake from two hour drive from Srinagar. Nilnag Lake is a captivating lake and is cradled by hills. Nilnag is a beautiful lake located 4 kilometres downhill from Yusmarg. The water of the lake is blue in colour and thus, the lake is named as Nilnag. The lake is connected to the passage, passing through the dense forests. The site is a beautiful picnic spot and a trek of 13 km uphill leads to various beautiful tourist spots.

Yusmarg or Yousmarg is easily accessible with the airways, railways and roadways. The closest air base to Yusmarg is the Srinagar Airport. Srinagar Airport is well connected with major cities of India like Shimla, Chandigarh, Mumbai, and Delhi. The nearest international airport to the destination is located in Delhi. The Jammu Tawi Railway Station is the nearest rail link to Yusmarg or Yousmarg. There are regular and direct buses for Yusmarg that are easily available from Srinagar.
