Santpura Gurudwara
Santpura Gurudwara is situated at the heart Yamuna Nagar. It is a famous religious place for Sikhs.
Budia Sahib Gurudwara
It is another well known Gurudwara of Yamuna Nagar. It is believed that the Gurudwara was once visited Guru Maharaj Ji which also owes to its fame. A `guru langar` is organized here on every Sunday where numerous devotees come to take the `prasada`.
Chitta Mandir
Chitta Mandir is the most famous Hanuman Mandir of the place. It is also the most ancient one and is located on the banks of Yamuna River. The temple is visited by thousands of devotees on Tuesdays.
Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir
It is another renowned temple of Yamuna Nagar dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The temple houses a unique idol of Lord Hanuman having five faces from which the temple has derived its name. It attracts a number of pilgrims and devotees from far off places.
Adibadri
Adibadri is situated at about 40 kilometres north of Yamuna Nagar, at the foothills of the Shivaliks. The place is adorned with exquisite natural beauty and has a picturesque landscape and serene ambience. Mantra Devi temple, Shri Kedar Nath and Adi-Badri Narayana are situated nearby.
Hanuman Gate Gurudwara
It is another Gurudwara of Yamuna Nagar, located near Hanuman Gate. It was established in the year 1945. It is associated with Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru of Sikhs. It is said that while travelling from Kapal Mochan to Kurukshetra, he had spent a night in this Gurudwara. To commemorate the visit of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, a small room was constructed. Under the supervision of Baba Harbans Singh Ji, the Gurudwara was also renovated in the later period.
Bilaspur Town and Kapal Mochan
Bilaspur town is a place of historic significance. It is believed that the place housed an Ashram of Maharishi `Ved Vyas`, the writer of Mahabharata. The Ashram is said to be situated at the bank of a pond. The town has also furnished a statue of Uma Mahadev of 9th-10th century and an idol of Lord Ganesha of 11th-12th century along with the ruins of Gupta period. The place is also considered very sacred and devotees from distant places visit the place to have a holy dip in the ponds named Surya kund, Kapalmochan and Rinmochan. The place also hosts a Gurudawara of Dasham Patshahi and a Hindu temple. Every year, after 16 days of Diwali, the kapalmochan mela is held here which attracts numerous pilgrims to take bath in the Guru purav. Myths also say that Lord Rama and Lakshmana had washed their weapons in this pond.
Chaneti Buddhist Stupa
Chaneti Buddhist Stupa is a grand tomb of about 8 metres height and is composed of bricks. It is an ancient Buddhist Stupa. The Stupa was built by King Ashoka as per the records of Hieun Tsang.
Kalesar National Park
This sanctuary is located in the lower hills of Shivaliks, in the eastern region of Yamuna Nagar. The forest hosts diverse species of trees including Amla, Sain, Tun, Shisam, Khair and Sal. The forest also shelters a variety of wild animals.
Ch. Devi Lal Herbal Nature Park
It is located in the village of Chuharpur on the mountains of Shivaliks. Abundant medicinal plants are found here which greatly serve the domestic as well as international market. In fact the nature park has been established with the aim of propagating and conserving the medicinal resources of Haryana.
