Pilgrimage Tourism in Panchmahal District
Panchmahal District comprises four Vaishnava temples at Godhra, Jain temples involving Ramji Mandir, Gokulnathji Temple and Swaminarayan Temple. The Ankleshwar Mahadev Temple is another Jain temple wherein a fair is arranged every year during Janmashtami. Rathanpur is famous for a marvellous 14th century temple which possesses amazing architectural styles. Since Godhra is revered as the birthplace of Rang Avadoot, a famous saint, it is a significant pilgrimage centre particularly for Datta Sampradaya followers. Bohora Masjid, Marisdeshwar Mahadev Temple, Jhakurkhan Ara Masjid and Old Methodist Church are the other religious places. Nature Tourism in Panchmahal District
The Kanelav Talava is a splendid pond which attracts innumerable visitors, equipped with a check-dam and Rotary Club, Godhra. Tourists also admire the Kanelav Picnic Point which is an instance of developed infrastructural facilities in Panchmahal District. Ram Sagar Talav is another beautiful pond, near which a statue of Swami Vivekananda has been erected. Animal lovers can have their thrill if they visit the Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary which is also based at this area.

Leisure Tourism in Panchmahal District
`Math Kothal` and `Chaiti Atham` are the regional fairs of this district which also attract a number of tourists to this region. Archaeological sites at Champaner- Pavagadh Archaeological Park consist of various historical monuments and water-bodies, which belong to different religions. It is situated about 45 km from the north-eastern part of Vadodara and was declared a heritage site on World Heritage List by the organization of UNESCO in July 2004. The monuments present here are artificial, but some of them are also natural.
