Chausat Yogini Temple: Situated atop a hillock and approached by a long flight of steps, the Chausat Yogini Temple commands a beautiful view of the Narmada River flowing through the jagged Marble Rocks. Dedicated to Goddess Durga, this 10th century temple has exquisitely carved stone figures of deities belonging to the Kalachuri period. According to a local legend, this ancient temple is associated with Gond Queen Durgavati`s palace through an underground passage.
Madan Mahal Fort: This fort was built by the Gond ruler, Raja Madan Shah in 1116 AD atop a rocky hill. From the fort, one can get a panoramic view of the town and the country-side around it.
Tripuri Sundari Temple: About 12 kms from the city on Bhedaghat road in village Tewar `Tripuri Sundari Temple` is situated. This temple is worth visiting.
Vishnu Barha Mandir: This is another popular temple in Sihora Tehsil of Jabalpur District.
Bajana Math: This medieval construction was built by the famous Gond king, Sangram Shah in between 1480 to 1540.
Tilwaraghat: It is the place from where Mahatma Gandhi`s ashes were immersed in the Narmada River and it was the venue of the open session of the Tripuri Congress in 1939.
Rani Durgavati Memorial and Museum: The memorial is dedicated to Queen Durgavati. The museum houses a fine collection of sculptures, inscriptions and prehistoric relics.
Bedaghat: The small village of Jabalpur tehsil, which is situated on the bank of river Narmada and widely famous for its marble rocks, is at a distance of about 21 km from Jabalpur. The Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat rise to 100 feet on either side of the Narmada. The main attraction of this place lies on its natural scenic beauty.
Dhuandhar: Narmada River, making its way through marble rocks, narrows down and then plunges in a waterfall known as Dhuandhar or the smoke cascade. The waterfall and its volume of water at the crest present awesome spectacles of nature at its best.
