Thiruparankundram Dargah is located at the top of the Thiruparankundram hill in Tamil Nadu. Thiruparankundram is a town in the Madurai District. This dargah houses the grave of Islamic saint Sultan Sikandhar Badushah Shaheed. Irrespective of all religions, many people from different places visit this dargah and all of their wishes have been answered according to them. Hence, this dargah is also called Mustajab AD Du`aa Sikandhar Badhushah. Mustajab AD Du`aa in Arabic means "a saint whose prayers are immediately answered by Allah" (God).
Festival in Thiruparankundram Dargah
The death anniversary of Sulthan Sikandar Badusha Shaheed is commemorated every Hijri year on the 17th night of the Islamic month of Rajab. Thousands of people visit this dargah during this time. All the arrangements for the festival are done by the committee of the dargah and the local police for the welfare of the pilgrims.
