Qutab Shahi Dynasty
The Qutab Shahi Dynasty was founded by Sultan Quli Qutab Shah in 1518.

The Qutab Shahi Dynasty was founded by Sultan Quli Qutab Shah. The dynasty was a part of Bahmani Empire, called Golkonda. In 1518 he Qutub Shah proclaimed his independence.he was succeeded by his son Jamshed. Jamshed ruled till 1550. Then onwards Ibrahim till 1580 and his son Muhammad Quli till 1611. In 1687 Aurangazeb captured the state.

There also a small dynasty existed which was not a part of the Bahmani Kingdom. That was the Faruqi Dynasty of Khandesh. Established in 1388 and came to end in 1601 as Akbar captured the Asigarh fort.
