The earlier years of Indian Tennis was not very successful. But later on some great tennis personalities of India like Bijoy Amritraj, Ramesh Krishnan,Ramanathan Krishnan,Joydeep Mukherjee made this game popular and famous in India. After that the famous duo came and changed the outlook of Indian Tennis and earned many international recognitions. Apart from them there are so many Indian players who did not get fame but served Indian tennis a lot.

Karan Rastogi was born on october 08,1986 in Mumbai .He started playing tennis at the age of 3 and reached the semi-finals of the Australian Junior Open Championship in 2004.

Rupesh Roy is one of the good tennis players of India.He is from kolkata and he was born on 16th february 1969.He loves to play in grass surface.He is right handed and playes double handed backhand.

Isha Toor is a new tennis force amongst women section from chandigar. Last year Isha won the AITA zonal meets in Meerut and Delhi.This year, she has won two successive titles in the AITA talent series. She is 15 years of old now.

Tara represented India in the junior Fed Cup for two years reached finals in both times.

Rohan Dinesh Gide was India`s no.1 player, when he played under 18 tournaments. He won 4 single junior tournaments in 2005.He was born on 20th February on 1987.

Samriddh Burman is very young tennis player. He hails from Kolkata.

Nirvick Mohinta is an inborn athlete Nirvick Mohinta is new hope in Indian tennis. Nirvick started playing tennis at the of 8,encouraged by his athlete parents. He was born on 23rd October 1986.In last two years he won four All India Tennis Association tournaments.

Venkatesh Poojashree ranked no.1 in the junior girls category. She is from Mysore.

Navdeep Sing,a player of great potential Is now 20 years old. He was former national junior champion.

Preethi Subhramanian is another new talent who, ranked No. 1 in India in under-16and won 25 titles and was runner-up 24 times in ITF, AITA, State and District level tournaments. She also won three ITF junior tournaments .Her hometown is Coimbatore.

Sanna Bhambari is new star of tennis. Her present ranking is 4.She is now 16 years old.

Sania Mirza with her records has become a name in Indian Tennis.

Mahesh Bhupathiborn in Chennai, this legendary name has added glamour to the game of Tennis.
