It was established in September 1995, in Bangaluru with the only objective of teaching the game and shaping young talent into mature champions. The famous Indian Tennis player, CGK Bhupathi, ranked Junior No. 1 in the country, in his time, took his passion for the game a step further and funded The Tennis Village. He established the academy in order to mould his son, Mahesh Bhupathi, into the champion he is today.
