Bhadrachalam Temple
Bhadrachalam Temple which is also known as Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple in Bhadrachalam, is a famous Hindu temple of Lord Rama located in Telangana State of India. The area is called Bhadrachalam. The venue is famous for the grand celebrations on Rama Navami, one of the famous Hindu festivals in India. Bhadrachalam Temple is closely related with the life of the Saint-composer of 17th Century, Kancharla Gopanna who was known as Ramadas. Gopanna was the Tahasildar of Bhadrachalam is said to have used money from the Mughal administration treasury to build this temple, and was imprisoned in a prison at Golconda. Lord Rama is said to have miraculously given the Sultan the money spent by Gopanna, after which he was released. Gopanna then became Bhadrachala Ramadasa and went on to compose innumerable number of songs in Telugu language in praise of Lord Rama of Ramayana. Bhadrachalam Temple was sanctified by "Manushya Pratishtha" according to local mythological legends the temple finds its first mention with a Bairagi or mendicant who came from Ayodhya. He resided on a small hillock overlooking Godavari River.

Birla Mandir
Birla Mandir is a modern Hindu temple, built on a 280 feet (85 m) high hillock called Naubath Pahad on a 13 acres plot. The construction of Birla Temple in Telangana took ten years and was consecrated in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission. The temple was constructed by Birla Foundation.

Temples of Kaleshwaram
Temples of Telangana Kaleshwaram is a village of Hindu pilgrimage centre. Kaleshawarma is located on the border of Telangana and Maharashtra at the juncture of the Godavari River and its tributary Pranahiti River. Kaleshwaram is the place of a shrine of the Hindu God Lord Shiva. The temple is important because of the two Shiva Lingas that are found on a single pedestal. These Lingas are named Lord Shiva and Lord Yama. Collectively, they are known as Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy. Kaleshwaram is one of three Shiva temples mentioned in Trilinga Desham "Land of Three Lingas." Kaleswara Muktheswara Swamy Temple is the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is famous for the confluence of the Ganga of the South, Godavari River. People come from various parts of India, to have a holy dip in Godavari River.

Chilkur Balaji Temple
Chilkur Balaji Temple, popularly known as Visa Balaji Temple or Visa God is an ancient Hindu temple of Lord Balaji. This temple is built on the banks of Osman Sagar Lake near Hyderabad. It is 17 km from Mehedipatnam. Chilkur Balaji Temple is one of the oldest temples in Hyderabad built during the time of Madanna and Akkanna, the uncles of Bhakta Ramadas. The shrine is instrumental for the temple`s popularity as Visa God.

Gnana Saraswati Temple
Gnana Saraswati Temple is a Hindu temple of Goddess Saraswati located on the banks of Godavari River at Basar in Telangana. Gnana Saraswati Temple is one of the two well-known Saraswati temples in India. The other temple of Gnana Saraswati Temple is located in Jammu and Kashmir. Saraswati is the Hindu Goddess of knowledge and learning. Children are brought to the temple for the learning ceremony called Akshara abyasam. According to the Brahmanda Purana, the Veda Vyasa installed Saraswati and wrote Mahabharata here.


Temples of Telangana Kondagattu
Kondagattu is a temple about 35 km from Karimnagar. This temple is dedicated to Lord Anjaneya Swamy. According to the folklore of South India, the temple was constructed by a cowherd some 300 years ago. The present day temple has been built 160 years ago by Krishna Rao Deshmukh. It is believed that if a lady offers puja for forty days at this temple then she will be blessed with a child. It is about 30 kilometres from Vemulavada, another well known temple in Karimnagar. There is a Ghatroad from hilltop to base station.

Ramappa Temple
Ramappa gudi also known as the Ramalingeswara temple or Ramappa Temple is located 77 kilometres from Warangal district, the ancient capital of the Kakatiya dynasty. Ramappa Temple is 157 km from Hyderabad in the state of Telangana in southern India. Ramappa Temple lies in a valley at Palampet village of Venkatapur Mandal, in erstwhile Mulug Taluq of Warangal district. This district in Telangana is a tiny village, has a long past glory in the 13th and 14th centuries. An inscription in the temple dates it to the year 1213 and said to have been built by a General Recherla Rudra, during the period of the Kakatiya ruler Ganapati Deva, who was one of the most prominent rulers of Kakatiya Dynasty.

Thousand Pillar Temple
Thousand Pillar Temple is one of the very old temples of Telangana. This temple was built by the rulers of Kakatiya dynasty. It stands out to be a masterpiece and achieved major heights in terms of architectural skills by the ancient Kakathiya Vishwakarma Sthapathis. It is believed that the Thousand Pillar Temple was built by King Rudra Deva in 1163 AD. Thousand Pillar Temple is a specimen of the Kakatiyan style of architecture of the 12th century. It was destroyed by the rulers of Tughlaq dynasty during their invasion of South India. It comprises one temple and other building. There are one thousand pillars in the building and the temple, but no pillar obstructs a person in any point of the temple to see the God in the other temple.

Yadagirigutta Temple
Temples of Telangana Yadagirigutta Temple is a popular Hindu Temple of Narasimha Swamy, an incarnation Lord Vishnu. Yadagirigutta Temple is situated on a hillock in the Nalgonda district, Telangana. It is located at about 60 kilometres from the city of Hyderabad.
