Taptapani, OdishaTaptapani is a famous hot water zone which is located within the dense forests of Ganjam District of Odisha. The term "Tapta" implies "hot" and "Pani" means "water". Taptapani has the lush green hills and rain washed jungles, accompanied by clouds floating amidst the beautiful hills which makes it all the more spectacular. This place is surrounded by hills and forest, which can be a good place for trekking and explore wildlife. The forest also offers great views of wildlife with rare birds. There is also an adjoining deer park close to Taptapani, which is maintained by the Forest Department of the state.
