Tantric Vratas of Lord GaneshaThe Tantric Vratas of Lord Ganesha are performed in order to worship the deity according to the methods of Tantra in Hinduism. The rituals of worshipping Ganesha or Ganapati are mentioned in the Shaiva Agamas and the Tantric scriptures. These Tantric rituals are performed for the accomplishment of various kinds of Siddhis. The Tantric vratas are also performed to attain success such as Viniyoga, Satakarma Siddhi, Abhichara Yoga and others.

Some of the rituals are considered to be an evil form of adoration. The Tantric Vratas of Lord Ganesha are to be performed only under proper guidance of the Gurus or experts or distinguished preceptor. Otherwise if the rituals are not conducted properly, these could prove to be dangerous for the performer. Hence the Tantric rituals should not be performed by general devotees of Lord Ganesha.
