Takhteshwar Temple is a holy shrine situated in the Bhavnagar city in Indian state of Gujarat. It is one of the oldest temples in Gujarat. The temple is positioned on a hillock near the Takhteshwar Railway station, between Bhavnagar and Mahuva. It is known for its architecture and the festival of Shivaratri.

The main attraction of the temple is architecture which showcases a rare craftsmanship. It is carved out of pure marble and was constructed in the late 19th century. It was constructed at the instructions of the then ruler of Bhavnagar, Maharaja Takhatsihnji. The temple houses a magnificent shrine with a three eyed Lord Shiva. The pictorial view of the temple adds to the serenity of the lay. The other attractions of the temple are Bhav Vilas Palace, Gandhi Smriti and Nilambag Palace. These are located in the vicinity of the temple which can be easily visited by the tourists and pilgrims.
