The extremely popular show Sindoor Tere Naam Ka was broadcasted on the Zee Television channel at 7:30p.m. some time back. It is a story based on a girl named Vedika (played by Gurdeep Kohli) who has the phobia against the traditional and auspicious symbol called `sindoor` which dons the forehead of a married female. When Vedika ties the knot with a sane man called Dhruv all the complexities start and the battle of protecting the sacred symbol commences.
Soon after the matrimonial alliance an arduous challenge beckons the lead female protagonist Vedika. She makes a plan to get Dhruv in her life but in the course of time she actually creates a distance between themselves. In the following stages the audiences see how she makes tough attempts to make the whole family believe that she is alive. On the other context Dhruv is seen totally shattered loosing the love of his life Vedika. It is at this Aarti (played by Aashka Goradia) consoles and comforts him and solemnizes their relations through wedlock.
The sub-plot of Sindoor Tere Naam Ka again focusses on two individuals named Rudra (played by Sharad Kelkar) and Niharika (played by Kirti Kelkar). When the former attempts suicide the latter saves her and brings her back to good health. Gradually a relation blossoms between the two and they jointly hatches conspiracies to take revenge from Virendra Raizada with the help of Titli Mami and her spouse Rajan. The battle of protection of the `vibrant red` continues and the interests of the audiences are kept in hold by the twists and turns in the whole range of events. Such shows love, betrayal and revenge works out well with the Indian audience and is sure to click well in the long run also if they are brought back in future.
