Shushant Singh an Indian actor from Uttar Pradesh who has created a niche for himself in the film industry with his exceptional histrionic skill.

Shushant Singh, Indian Actor Shushant Singh, before trying his luck in films, was a theatre actor. He has also acted on Indian television. He is known for his offbeat roles both on the small and silver screens. Born in Uttar Pradesh, he completed his schooling from `Birla Vidya Mandir Boarding school in Nainital and graduation in Kirorimal College, Delhi. From the very beginning he had a passion for acting which made him to join Ebrahim Alkazi`s Living Theatre Academy in 1992. Within four years he did several plays like `Death of a Salesman`, `A Street car named Desire`.

Sushant came to Mumbai in 1996. Though he was supposed to act in Chetan Anand`s movie, but the movie got shelved due to the director`s death. He then tried his hands at translating and giving voice over for Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel. It was Ram Gopal Verma`s `Jungle` that provided him the first big break. Later came `Satya` and Mansoor Ali`s `Josh. ` Among these Satya became the turning point of his career. Though he had a very small role yet it had deep impact on his career. In the movie`16 December` his role as Victor was quite impressive and his firebrand revolutionary acting as Sukhdev in `The Legend Of Bhagat Singh` earned him rewards.

After a short gap Shushant made his appearance in two prominent Hindi serials namely Virrudh and Dhadkan. These mainly attracted him because of their stories which allowed him to prove his acting potentiality on the small screen as well.

In his personal life he married Molina and is a father of little baby girl. Along with his acting he is also a prominent member of International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy of Film & Television.
