Sri Chennakesavaswamy Festival is celebrated in the Chennakesavaswamy temple situated in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Sri Chennakesavaswamy Festival has been celebrated for the past three years. It is celebrated for nine days from Maggha Suddha Padyani to Navami( January-February). Arrangements are made eight days prior to the festival. There are a number of rituals which are observed during the course of this festival. These are- Abhishekam, Ankurapana, Dhwajarohana, Thirukalyanam, Sevas, Pushparatham, Rathothsavam, Sakatothsavam and Chakratheertham.
During this time, coconuts, fruits and flowers are offered in addition to silver replicas of eyes, bells etc in fulfilment of vows.
