Sonia Deepti is an Indian movie actress who predominantly appears in South Indian films. She is best known for her critically acclaimed Telugu film Happy Days which was her debut film. It featured her in a supporting role and bagged her Filmfare Award South. Before stepping into films, she worked as a software engineer in an IT company for three years.

She was born on 29 July 1984. She was brought up in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. She received her degree in computer applications.
Career of Sonia Deepti
Deepti made her debut in 2007 with the Sekhar Kammula directed Telugu film Happy Days which went on to bag six Filmfare Awards South and three Nandi Awards. The movie featured her in a supporting role. Her performance garnered her critical acclaim as well as an award.
In the following year, she appeared in her second film titled Vinayakudu opposite Krishnudu which was written and directed by Sai Kiran Adivi. This movie too was successful and soon she started receiving offers from Tamil film industry. She made her debut in Tamil with the romantic-action film Paiyaa in 2010 which was written and directed by N. Linguswamy. In the same year, she appeared in another Tamil film titled Inidhu Inidhu, a remake of Happy Days. In 2011, she worked in the Telugu film Dookudu where she was seen in a small role as Samantha`s friend. She made her debut in Kannada with the Jayanth C. Paranjee directed film Ninnindale in 2014 which starred Puneeth Rajkumar and Erica Fernandes.
Her other films include Brahmalokam to Yamalokam (Telugu) which released in 2010 and Mr. Manmadha (Telugu) which released in 2013.
