SIES College of Arts, Science and commerce was established in 1998. This college was inaugurated in 1998 by Dr. P.C. Alexander, the then Governor of Maharashtra.

SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Nerul, Navi MumbaiSIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce is one of the oldest educational societies in India which is known for its rich tradition of imparting education while inculcating the essence of culture in its pupils. The society, since then has successfully expanded its reach by establishing various institutions that have striven to achieve academic excellence. In the journey to achieve individual milestones and collective growth, SIES started with six ardent learners and today the SIES family has evolved with various educational institutions and is blessed with over 18,000 students under its wing.

History of SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce
This college was established in the year 1998. The educational society has established a High school, an array of arts, science and commerce colleges, along with academic and professional institutions of higher learning. This includes establishments of Centre for Excellence in Management Research and Development (CEMRD), SIES School of Packaging, SIES Indian Institute of Environment Management, and SIES Graduate School of Technology (an engineering institute). SIES Seniors` Home and SIES Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswati Veda Vidya Pitha for young children are the latest ventures initiated by SIES. Education blends with tradition at SIES, which in turn reflects on individual and personal growth. This has been achieved through the foresight, wisdom and dedication of the founders with a strong emphasis on high standards of academic, professional and societal performance.

Educational facilities form a part of the core of the infrastructure in a developing city. Realizing the need for a college catering to different faculties at the undergraduate level the South Indian Education Society (SIES) took the initiative and established the SIES (Nerul) College of Arts, Science and Commerce in 1998. The faculties of Arts and Science were added in the year 2003.The much in demand courses like the BMM, BMS, B. Sc (Computer science) and B. Sc (Information Technology) are also run in the college. Within a short span of eight years, the college has created a name for itself in Navi Mumbai.

The vast campus and excellent infrastructure facilities are the highlights of the college. The college located at Nerul, Navi Mumbai is one of the foremost institutions of undergraduate and post graduate study in Thane district. The college was inaugurated in 1998 by Dr. P.C. Alexander, the then Governor of Maharashtra. The Junior College imparts education in Commerce and is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.

The College has special facilities for physically challenged students such as the library for visually challenged students and classes for the handicapped in the ground floor. The college also hosts a career fair by the name `Disha` during the month of December- January. Besides academics, SIES College takes initiatives in developing the students by offering courses in music and yoga.

The College is known to have a strong Philosophy and Microbiology department. SIES is considered to be the only college in India to offer an Economics degree from the world famous London school of Economics.
