Siddheshwar Sen is a well-known Mach performer. He was born in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh in 1922. He trained under Ustad Radhakrishan and debuted in 1947. In 1956 he set up his own troupe, Malav Lok Natya Mach Mandal, which toured all over western India north to Haryana, and even took Mach to Manipur, Nagaland, and Mizoram. Sen has acted in over 6000 performances. He composed and presented new scripts such as Rajyogi Bharthari or `Royal Yogi Bharthari`, Bhakta Prahlad or `Prahlad the Devotee, Pranvir Tejaji or `Brave Tejaji`, and Ram Sita Vivah or `Wedding of Ram and Sita`.
