The District Administration of West Siang district, Aalo, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Arunachal Pradesh organise Siang River Festival (Yomgo) at Aalo from January 14, 2008 to January 17, 2008.

The main purpose of Siang River Festival is to highlight the vast potentials of tourism in the state and to attract the Indian tourists and the international tourists as well as.

The people of Arunachal Pradesh who are almost fed-up with the day to day hustle and bustle of the metro life and want to seek solace in the lap of mother nature, for them the Siang River Festival is right answer.
