Shrishti Ganapati or Srushti Ganapati refers to the one who is the creator. It is the 23rd incarnation among the thirty-two forms of Lord Ganesha. The Lord is depicted with only one tusk which symbolizes selfless sacrifice for His worshippers. A person can acquire the power of discrimination by praying to this form of Ganesha. Lord Shrishti Ganapati is depicted with crimson red complexion and four arms. He carries his own broken tusk in his main right hand and a mango on the main left hand. Lord Ganesha also holds a noose in the upper left hand and an elephant goad in the upper right hand.
Shrishti Ganapati is seated on his Mushika Vahana (divine mouse). A person who meditates daily on this form of the Lord achieves clarity of thoughts. The Arulmigu Swaminatha Swami Temple in Swamimalai in Tamil Nadu is the most popular temple of Lord Shrishti Ganapati.
The devotees of the Lord worship Him by chanting the Srishti Ganapati Mantra. This is recited as "Pashankusha Svadantamraphalavan Akhuvahanaha Vighnam Nihantu Nah Shonah Srishidaksho Vinayakaha".
